Planner for YNAB

Planner lets you talk to your YNAB budget from inside Claude. Ask Claude what's left in your grocery category, how your net worth has trended this year, whether a transaction is still uncategorized, or when a scheduled bill is due — and, if you choose to allow it, ask Claude to make changes for you, like categorizing a transaction or adjusting a monthly budget amount.

Who this is for

Anyone who already budgets in YNAB and already talks to Claude. There's nothing to install and nothing to configure beyond adding one connector — Planner is a hosted service, not an app you run yourself. You don't need to know anything about how it works under the hood to use it.

What Claude can do once it's connected

  • Answer questions about your accounts, categories, and budgeted amounts for any month.
  • Look up, search, and summarize your transactions and payees.
  • Surface longer-run signals like Age of Money and net worth history.
  • With your permission, make changes: categorize transactions, record new transactions and transfers, adjust budgeted amounts, and more.
